Vitrics for Signage

Architecturally designed glass wall at Vodafone

Vitrics glass has many benefits for the specialist signage business. Those of you who visited us on our stand at the NEC at the Sign UK show this May will have appreciated the many advantages this process offers.

Our method reproduces true 3D designs and is not just an effect. When used with lighting, as demonstrated at the show, the effect is amazing. The unique design advantages combined with low maintenance and cleaning and no danger of fading by UV or pollution make vitrics glass an exciting proposition for signage as proven by Tower 42's choice of Vitrics for their internal signage needs.

Tower 42

The City of London's tallest building, and one of its most prestigious, chose vitrics glass for its internal signage needs. Each plaque is different, and combines the logo and floor number engraved in 3 dimensions within the glass. The plaques measure 1000 x 450mm and are illuminated with special lit stainless steel spacers incorporating LED lighting which reflect off the internal engraving to great effect.

Navteq 3D engraved glass plaque

Navteq

International digital map data company, Navtec has specified 3D engraved Vitrics glass as the format for a series of reseller branding plaques, designed to increase its point of sale brand presence across Europe.

To be displayed in the outlets of key automotive retailers which sell products that incorporate Navtec technology, such as in-car satellite navigation systems, the wall mounted and desk top plaques will be used to project the high-tec Navtec brand at every possible point of sale.

The wall mounted plaques will display the engraved Navtec brand in colourless glass, suspended 2 cm’s above a dark blue plaque which will sit flush with the wall. The desk-top version of the plaque, designed for sales counters, will be crafted from the same colourless glass, and held in a small aluminium stand, incorporating a series of LED lights which project through the plaque.
